Only the base Smart diesel-manual variant of the Safari gets a price cut of Rs. 70,000. The prices of other variants remain unchanged. It is worth noting the Safari Smart variant’s revised price is only valid on bookings made until 31 July, 2024.

The Tata Safari is powered by 2.0L diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 250Nm of torque. It comes with 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Safari diesel-manual offers a claimed mileage of 16.30kmpl while the Safari diesel-automatic delivers 14.50kmpl.

The Tata Safari D1-segment SUV rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and the MG Hector.
