The first edition of the Mud & Music Festival concluded in Chandigarh with off-road challenges, music performances and automotive showcases. The two-day event attracted off-roading enthusiasts and adventure seekers from across North India. Participants competed in mud challenges and explored scenic trails during the festival.
Here’s what the organisers of the Mud & Music Festival have to say about the event:
The first edition of the Mud & Music Festival, themed “Mud, Music Madness,” concluded successfully with an exciting mix of off-roading, live music and adventure experiences. The two-day festival was held at Forest Hill Resort and attracted automobile enthusiasts and adventure lovers from across North India, creating a vibrant atmosphere of thrill and entertainment.
One of the key highlights of the event was the Mud Challenge, which saw participation from 45 off-road vehicles. Drivers and teams travelled from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir to test their skills on the muddy terrain. The first day of the festival was dedicated to the Mud Challenge, where participants navigated challenging obstacles and muddy tracks. On the second day, the excitement continued with a Forest Trail drive, allowing participants to explore natural terrain and enjoy a scenic off-road experience, with 15 vehicles taking part.
The festival also featured energetic musical performances that kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The Nissi Band from Jammu delivered a powerful live performance, while DJ Syna from Chandigarh set the mood with high-energy beats. Adding a soulful dimension to the festival, the Miraj Band captivated the audience with their Sufi performances.
A major attraction of the festival was the N1200 Ator mobility vehicle by JSW Gecko Motors, which drew significant attention from visitors. This specialist amphibious vehicle offered attendees a unique ride experience. Designed to operate across multiple terrains including water, mud, mountains and forests, the vehicle demonstrated advanced mobility capabilities and became one of the most talked-about exhibits at the festival.
Automotive enthusiasts also enjoyed a range of custom and classic vehicle showcases. Kunwar Customs from Jaipur presented specially customised vehicles, while the Bike Farmers Group displayed an impressive lineup of high-capacity motorcycles. The festival also featured a collection of vintage and classic Jeeps that attracted considerable interest from automobile enthusiasts.
In addition to vehicle displays, several automotive brands showcased their products and accessories. Saak Motors exhibited a variety of automobile accessories, while Infinity Auto Mall presented a striking display of alloy wheels, both of which received positive responses from visitors.
Speaking about the event, Piyush Punjabi, Founder of the Mud & Music Festival, said:
“The first edition received an overwhelming response from participants and spectators alike. The festival was not designed as a hardcore competition but as a unique experience combining adventure, music and automotive culture. The idea was to create an environment where people could come together, enjoy off-roading, music and the outdoors. The response has been fantastic, and we are grateful to everyone who participated and supported the event.”
Encouraged by the success of the inaugural edition, the organisers announced that the second edition of the Mud & Music Festival will be announced soon, promising an even bigger and more exciting experience for adventure and music enthusiasts.
