Hyundai i20 Facelift Exterior Details

The first teaser image released by Hyundai gives us a sneak peek into the changes at the front of the i20 B2-segment premium hatchback. Looking at the image, one can tell that the changes are in line with the Euro-spec i20 facelift. Speaking of the changes made to the Euro-spec i20 facelift, it offers reflector-based LED headlights with inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, a different radiator grille and redesigned front bumper. However, the India-spec i20 facelift featured in the teaser image shows a different radiator grille compared to the global model.

Furthermore, the teaser confirms the omission of projector fog lights, which are available in the current i20. Around the side, the new i20 facelift will offer a new set of machined alloy wheels and side skirts. At the rear, the Euro-spec i20 facelift offers a new bumper with a faux silver skid plate and tweaked Z-shaped LED tail lights and the India-spec model could receive the same as well.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Interior And Features

While Hyundai have not released images of the i20 facelift’s cabin, we expect it to be similar to the Euro-spec model. The updates on the Euro-spec i20’s interior were minimal, featuring body-coloured inserts on the dashboard, steering wheel and seat upholstery. Additionally, the top variants of the Euro-spec i20 facelift also offer a full-colour 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Whether or not the India-spec model receives the same remains to be seen.
