BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition Bookings Open

BMW have opened bookings for the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance for a token amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Interested buyers can book the special edition 2 Series via BMW Online Shop portal. BMW will announce the prices of the compact luxury sedan on September 7, 2023.

Speaking of its visual changes, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition comes finished in an exclusive black metallic colour. At the front, it offers a new radiator grille with diamond studding and bronze surrounds. The bronze surrounds are also found  near the fog lamp housing. Around the side, it offers M badging on the fenders and M Sport alloy wheels. Other details include M Performance Alcantara gear selector and M Performance parts.

On the powertrain front, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition comes with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine. It produces 176PS of power at 5100rpm and 280Nm of torque between 1350rpm and 4600rpm, which is identical to the regular variants. The engine channels power to a sport DCT transmission, which lets the sedan sprint from zero to 100kmph in 7.1 seconds.

Currently, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe prices start from Rs. 43.50 lakh and go up to Rs. 45.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Since the new M Performance Edition is a limited edition variant, it is likely to carry a higher price tag.
