BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine LCI Leaked Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars

BMW recently launched the X3 and X4 facelift in the Indian market with minor tweaks. BMW are now gearing up to introduce the 3-Series Gran Limousine LCI and the images of the China-spec car have leaked ahead of its launch.

BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine

BMW India launched the 3-Series Gran Limousine in January 2021. The 3-Series Gran Limousine gets a 110mm longer wheelbase than that of the 3-Series. It is worth noting that India is the first right-hand-drive market in the world to receive the long wheelbase 3-Series. The China-spec BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine is likely to receive a facelift (LCI in BMW speak) in the coming weeks.

The 3-Series Gran Limousine LCI facelift features an updated front end with tweaked LED headlights with a new DRL pattern. It also gets a bigger grille upfront. The headlights of the current 3-Series get a kink, which is reminiscent of that in the E46 or 4th gen 3 Series. BMW have also made changes to the bumper and the 340i variant gets even sportier bumpers and a different kidney grille. Other changes include a new design for the alloy wheels and a tweaked rear bumper.

We are yet to get our hands on the interior images of the 3-Series Gran Limousine LCI. We expect the LCI to boast the latest BMW iDrive infotainment system with a bigger touchscreen and an updated dashboard layout, in line with the recently updated X3 and X4 facelifts.

The 3-Series Gran Limousine sits between the 3-Series and the 5-Series in BMW’s portfolio. The 3-Seris Gran Limousine doesn’t have any direct rivals in the Indian market. The regular 3-Series goes up against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4, Lexus ES300h and Volvo S60. Mercedes-Benz India recently launched the W206 C-Class and our first impression of the luxury sedan is now live on our YouTube channel.
