Exclusive: Now Maruti Brezza 2025 Also Gets 6 Airbags As Standard; Prices To Be Hiked Again | V3Cars
After making 6 airbags standard on the Celerio, Maruti Suzuki have decided to also offer the safety feature as standard with the Brezza. The decision appears to come after witnessing the consumer response to the Celerio, when it received the feature update. Maruti Suzuki had increased the prices of the Brezza in February 2025. However, the prices hadn’t factored in the inclusion of 4 additional airbags in the lower 3 variants.

Now, we have learned from a reliable source that the carmaker will soon increase the prices of the Brezza to accommodate the change. Here we have the exclusive prices, which will soon come into effect once the stock of 6 airbags starts arriving at the dealerships. Just like the Celerio, the Brezza will also get 5x 3 point seatbelts for all occupants. Otherwise, it gets 4x seatbelts and 1x lap belt for the rear centre occupant.
Here’s a look at the February 2025 prices of the Brezza and the new prices, applicable for the 6 airbag models:

Earlier, only the ZXI Plus variants got the 6 airbags feature. After the inclusion of 4 additional airbags in the lower variants, the prices have gone up by Rs. 5,500 to Rs. 15,000. Despite the addition of the same feature in the lower 3 variants, the price increase is not consistent. This should help them make up for a better (perceived) value proposition and encourage buyers to jump from lower to higher variants. Since the Brezza top model already had 6 airbags, it didn’t get any additional price hike. In fact, it didn’t get any price hike in Feb 2025 either.
For the variants that are now getting 4 extra airbags, the price hike is in the range of 0.52% to 1.76%.

I bought 2024,is possible to upgrade 6 airbag in my car through dealer ?
V3Cars Experts
Nope. Installing airbags post purchase in a car that didn't have provisions for them is near impossible and also not recommended. if you have airbags in the car, which you have to replace for whatever reason, then it becomes a question of repair rather than upgrade. Even then, you'll have limited options as airbags are usually replaced because of accidents and in those cases, the repairs are done under insurance thruogh authorised service centre. --MY
