3rd-Gen Honda Amaze Could Launch Next Year

Honda introduced the Amaze in India back in 2013 and later brought the 2nd-gen Amaze in 2018. Following a regular product lifecycle, Honda are likely to bring the 3rd-gen Amaze in early 2024. It is likely to share its platform with the upcoming Honda SUV and sit under 4 metres in length. The new Amaze could take design inspiration from bigger global sedans from Honda’s stable, such as the Civic and Accord.

The new Amaze is also likely to offer a completely redesigned interior with new features like a floating-type touchscreen infotainment system and more. In terms of powertrain, the 3rd-gen Amaze is likely to continue with a 1.2L normal petrol engine. In its current state, this engine produces 90PS of power at 6000rpm and 110Nm of torque at 4800rpm. Meanwhile, Honda have discontinued the 1.5L diesel engine from their India lineup and it’s unlikely to make a comeback.
