
Mahindra has been working on the next-gen Scorpio for a while now and the SUV has been spied on multiple occasions. The latest round of spy shots reveals the SUV’s cabin which has received a major design overhaul.

While the official debut of the C3 SUV is expected to happen soon, the design of the SUV has leaked via images of its scale model. The C3 will be the brand’s first made-in-India offering and it is expected to go on sale later this year.

Mahindra has been working on the Marazzzo automatic for a long time now and it has been spotted testing on multiple occasions. Now, the carmaker has confirmed that the Marazzo will go on sale soon. Talking to a publication, a company spokesperson said, “We keep upgrading our products from time to time and one can soon expect the Marazzo to be launched with an AutoShift transmission.”

Earlier this year Skoda confirmed that the fourth-gen Octavia will go on sale in April 2021 but the launch was delayed due to the worsening Covid-19 conditions in India. Now, replying to an interested buyer, Zac Hollis, Director - ŠKODA AUTO India, has confirmed on Twitter that the new Octavia will go on sale in June 2021. He said, “ We will now launch the new Octavia next month. The exact format of the launch is in discussion.” Zac has also confirmed that the deliveries of the mid-size sedan will get underway immediately after launch. Production of the fourth-gen Octavia is already underway in India since April 2021.

The new-gen Mahindra Scorpio has been spotted testing on multiple occasions. But for the first time, the SUV has been spotted in an off-road habitat further affirming that it will be offered with an optional 4WD system. The current-gen Scorpio was earlier offered with a 4WD system but it was discontinued when the BS6 update was introduced in 2020.

Jeep Grand Commander has been spied in its entirety ahead of its official global debut. While we have no official confirmation, it might be the H6 7-seater SUV which is scheduled to go on sale in India in 2022 after its global debut in late 2021. However, if launched in India, the Grand Commander will carry a new name since Mahindra owns the trademark for the name. Along with the 2021 Sonet, Kia has launched the 2021 Seltos in India. It is priced from Rs 9.95 lakh to Rs 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom India). It attracts a premium of up to Rs 20,000 over the 2020 model. With the update, Kia has not only added new features, but it has also updated the variant lineup of the compact SUV. Kia has also introduced the new brand logo on the 2021 Seltos.

Kia has launched the updated Sonet at a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom India). It gets additional automatic transmission variants, paddle shifters, new voice commands and a revised list of features. Kia has also introduced the new brand logo across its model lineup in India save for the Carnival MPV.

However, the launch has now been delayed due to the worsening Covid-19 situation in the country and it is now expected to go on sale in June 2021. When launched, the Tiguan will make a comeback after almost a year since the pre-facelift model was discontinued in April 2020 due to the introduction of new BS6 emission norms.
