The Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift was launched in India today at a starting price of Rs. 96.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in 3 variants, bookings for the 2024 GLE SUV are currently open and deliveries are set to begin by the end of November. Read on to know more.

The updated Mercedes-Benz GLE for the Indian market gets a revamped front end with slimmer LED headlamps, twin and single-slat grille based on the variant, new alloy wheels, and revised rear bumper and taillights. Other highlights include roof rails, side steps and black ORVM covers.

Inside the cabin of the new GLE, you’ll find a new S-Class derived steering wheel and Mercedes’ latest MBUX infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new GLE also gets revised air vents and ambient lighting as well as a 4-zone climate control as standard.

Powering the new GLE facelift are 3 engine options - a 2.0-litre turbo diesel, a 3.0-litre turbo diesel and a 3.0-litre turbo petrol. All engines now come with a 48V mild hybrid system as standard that produces 20PS of power and 200Nm of torque when required.
The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel puts out 269PS of power and 550Nm of torque, while the 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo diesel produces 367PS of power and 700Nm of torque.
The 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo petrol churns out 380PS of power and 500nm of torque. All engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard.
