- Maruti’s supremacy over the Indian car market is such that Maruti would have to lose over 87,600 units in sales to match the second best-selling brand, Hyundai.
- The WagonR from Maruti Suzuki was the best-selling model in April, with almost 21,000 units sold.
- The manufacturer with the least units sold in April was Jeep, with just 558 units.
- In the last 6-9 months, we’ve witnessed a lot of action in the Indian auto industry with a bunch of new car launches, generation updates and mid-life refreshes. We can expect a lot more to happen in 2023.
