Citroen C3X’s Interior Spied – Gets 10-Inch Touchscreen | V3Cars

Citroen India are gearing up to expand their Indian product portfolio to 3 models soon. After the launch of the Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross, the brand are now preparing to launch the C3X crossover in early 2024. Test mules of the Citroen C3X were spotted testing as far back as July this year. However, the latest spy shots give us a glimpse of the C3X SUV coupe’s interior. Let’s take a closer look.

Citroen C3X Interior Spied

The latest Citroen C3X spy shot suggests that the C3X will share most of its interior components with the C3 and C3 Aircross. The test mule featured the same dashboard as the C3 which offers a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital driver’s display, vertical AC vents on either ends, and a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel.

As far as the exterior design is concerned, the latest spy shots do not reveal anything we didn’t know already from previous spy shots. While the exterior was covered in heavy camouflage, we expect the C3X to feature the same front end as the C3 Aircross which boasts a split headlamp setup and a slim grille with Citroen’s chevron logo.

Around the side, we expect the C3X to be largely similar to the C3 till the just before the C-pillar. The C3X is expected to feature a coupe-esque roofline with a sloping tailgate compared to the SUV-like rear end of the C3 and C3 Aircross. At the rear, expect Citroen to offer a shark fin antenna on the rood and connected LED tail lamps on the tailgate.

As far as powertrain options are concerned, the C3X is also likely to retain the same 1.2L turbo petrol engine that powers the C3 and C3 Aircross. In the C3 and C3 Aircross models, this petrol engine produces 110PS of power at 5500rpm and 190Nm of torque at 1750rpm. For now, this engine comes with just a 6-speed manual transmission. However, Citroen are reportedly working on an automatic transmission for the turbo petrol engine.

When launched, the Citroen C3X will not have any direct rivals due to its unique body styling. However, we expect Citroen to position the C3X in the C-segment which is currently dominated by SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, like the C3 Aircross, the C3X could be priced lower than the above-mentioned SUVs and closer to B2-segment SUVs such as the Marut Arena Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
