Kia India have completed the 1 million unit production milestone with the roll out of the new Seltos facelift. Kia are the fastest carmaker in India to join the 1 million production club. Read on to know more about this milestone achievement.

Kia India kickstarted their operations in 2019 with the launch of the Seltos. Till date, Kia India have sold over 5.3 lakh units of the Setlos, making up over 50% of the production milestone. So far, Kia India have produced 5,32,450 units of the Seltos SUV, 3,32,450 units of the Sonet SUV, 1,20,516 units of the Carens MPV and 14,584 units of the Carnival MPV.

On achieving this milestone, Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director and CEO, Kia India, said, “This is a big moment for us, our employees, and our partners who have lived and supported our journey and helped us in making Kia an integral part of the Indian consumer’s lives today. Kia India aim to continue their growth in India with the ‘Kia 2.0’ strategy. The new growth strategy will include a new line of ICE and EV vehicles and further expansion of dealer touchpoints. By the year 2025, Kia India will launch 2 new electric vehicles and 1 new ICE model. Apart from that, the carmaker also aim to increase its dealership touchpoints from 300 to 600+ by 2027.

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Launch Details

Kia India recently revealed the Seltos facelift with new features, including level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.
