Mahindra Launch Scorpio N Z8 Select With Prices Starting From Rs. 17.0 Lakh. Here’s What’s New | V3Cars

Mahindra have expanded the Scorpio N lineup with the addition of a new variant called the Z8 Select. The new Z8 Select variant sits in between the Z6 and Z8 variants of the Scorpio N. It is available with petrol-manual, petrol-auto, diesel-manual and diesel-manual powertrain options. Unlike the Z8 above it, the Z8 Select does not get the option of 4-wheel drive.

The new Z8 Select variants are between Rs. 1.11 lakh and Rs. 1.65 lakh cheaper than the variant above. Both variants share common features like:

Missing Features In Scorpio N Z8 Select Over Z8 Variant

The Scorpio N Z8 Select variants miss out on the following features over the Z8 variants:

  • Push-button start-stop
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Power folding ORVMs
  • Auto headlamps
  • Rain-sensing wiper

Another new addition with the Scorpio N Z8 Select variant is a new colour option called ‘Midnight Black’. It is currently exclusive to the Z8 Select variant.

The Mahindra Scorpio N’s powertrain options include a 2.2-litre diesel engine that puts out 175PS of power and 400Nm of torque and a 2.0litre turbo petrol that produces 200PS and 380Nm. Both engines are available with the option of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
