
Some new images of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson have surfaced online, without any camouflage. According to the images, Hyundai have begun with the dealer shipment of the new Tucson. Hyundai revealed the Tucson in the global markets last year and it is now all set to make its way to the Indian market.

Spy shots of a camouflaged Tata Punch are surfacing on the internet. It was spotted testing in Tamil Nadu. We believe that this version is the CNG variant of the mini SUV. If so, it could go on sale sometime in 2022, after the launch of Tiago and Tigor CNG launch in January. Also, camouflaged versions of the Tiago and Safari were accompanying the Punch.

Toyota India plan to launch the Hilux in India around January 2022. According to a new report, some Toyota dealerships are now accepting unofficial bookings for the Hilux. The dealers are charging Rs 2.0 lakh as the token amount for the booking. Toyota Hilux got a facelift in the global markets last year. Toyota is likely to launch the same model in India, with minor India-specific changes.

MG Motor have collaborated with Attero Recycling. Together, they have managed to recycle their first Lithium-ion EV battery. The recycled materials like metal might are likely to help cut down the input costs for manufacturing new Lithium battery cells. With this initiative, MG along with Attero aim to recycle and reuse the Li-ion battery from the MG ZS EV.

MG Motor achieved a healthy YoY growth of 56% in the calendar year 2021 so far and sold. 37,323 cars. In the same period last year, MG Motor sold 24,152 units.

Kia India today revealed their 2022 Carens SUV with 3-row seating. The Carens will get 7-seat and 6-seat options with electric, one-touch tumble feature in the second row for easy access to the third row seats. The Carens is likely to go on sale between January and March 2022.
