2023 Hyundai Verna Design Details

Up front, the new Verna gets a connected LED light bar that also includes the daytime running lights. The grille now sits lower and incorporates the LED headlights whereas the halogen indicators find their place below the headlight clusters. The bumper also houses vertical air ducts to feed air to the front disc brakes.

Around the side, the Verna boasts a sharp design with multiple ceases and a prominent shoulder line. Like the Hyundai Tucson, the Verna also gets a chrome strip running across the window line with a knurled finish around the C-pillar. It also gets dual-tone machined alloy wheels, which could measure 16-inch in size. To lend the Verna a fastback appeal, Hyundai have also offered a tapering roofline that meets seamlessly with the boot lip.

At the rear, the new Verna boasts a connected tail light design with a thin lightbar covering the width of the car. In the pictures, you may find the ‘Accent’ badging whereas in India, it will get the ‘Verna’ branding. Furthermore, the lower bumper gets a unique knurled finish, which helps in reducing the visual bulk at the rear.

2023 Hyundai Verna Powertrain Details

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will come with a choice of 2 engine options — 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol. While the 1.5L normal petrol engine will be carried over from the Hyundai Creta, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine will make its India debut with the new Verna.
