Earlier this week, Citroen India launched the 2026 eC3X and announced an introductory price of Rs. 6.98 lakh (ex-showroom) and battery EMI of Rs. 2.26 per kilometer under the Battery-as-a-Subscription (BaaS) model. Now, the brand has revealed the eC3X variant-wise ex-showroom prices for those who want to buy the electric SUV outright. Take a look:

Citroen India have launched the updated 2026 eC3X electric SUV with a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model. The biggest highlight of the launch is the lower entry price of Rs. 6.89 lakh, which excludes the battery cost. Customers opting for the BaaS scheme will pay a separate battery usage charge starting from Rs. 2.26 per kilometer. Customers willing to pay the upfront cost of the battery can buy the electric SUV at Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Live variant.

Citroen have teased the upcoming eC3 facelift ahead of its launch in India. This will be the first major update for the electric SUV since it was introduced in 2023. The updated model is expected to bring styling revisions, additional features and improvements to the cabin while retaining its existing electric powertrain.

While Citroen have given the X treatment to the Basalt, C3 and the Aircross, they are probably gonna skip this for the eC3. The electric car from Citroen may be switching to a new gen platform with a heavy design revision. We managed to spot an eC3 with some camouflage driving around Bangalore city (Bengaluru). This spotting supports our assumption that Citroen may be skipping the eC3X and planning to replace the car altogether with the new gen model in the coming months.

Citroen India have opened bookings for the upcoming Aircross X, with customers able to reserve the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000. This update follows the “X” treatment previously given to the C3 and Basalt, where the badge signified a revised feature set and a more value-focused variant mix.

Citroen have launched the 2025 Basalt X at a starting price of Rs. 7.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in 3 broad variants, the Basalt X is priced between Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 1.07 lakh lower than the variants they replace.
