Renault Arkana Spied Again - India Launch Soon? | V3Cars

Renault India have been testing the Arkana Coupe SUV on Indian roads for some time now. Some spy shots of the Arkana have surfaced once again and it could make its way to our market. If Renault plan to launch the Arkana in India, we expect it to go on sale via the CBU route.

Renault Arkana

Renault India’s domestic portfolio currently consists of the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. All of these cars use the CMF-A+ platform, which was designed specifically for the Indian customers. Their portfolio lacks premium products as the only global model, the Duster is no longer on sale. With the Arkana, Renault India are probably planning to tap into the premium segment and boost their brand image, like what Kia did with the luxurious Carnival MPV. However, importing it as is could make it very expensive keeping it out of reach for most car buyers.
