Kia launched their new Carnival MPV and EV9 flagship electric SUV in India on October 3, 2024. For now, the Carnival and EV9 are available in a single variant only, both of which are brought to India via the CBU (completely built unit) route. The 2024 Kia Carnival is available in a single, fully-loaded variant – the Limousine Plus – at a price of Rs. 63.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kia Carnival Limousine Plus offers a 7-seater layout with electronically-adjustable captain seats in the 2nd row and a bench seat in the 3rd row.

2024 Kia EV9 – Prices, Specs And Features

The 2024 Kia EV9 is priced at Rs. 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). Like the Carnival, the EV9 too is available in a single variant – the GT Line AWD 6-seater. The new Kia EV9 rivals the likes of the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron and Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.

The Kia EV9 is powered by 2 electric motors, one on each axle, to offer all-wheel-drive capabilities. It produces 384.23PS of power and 700Nm of torque and does the 0-100kmph sprint in just 5.3 seconds. Equipped with a 99.8kWh battery, Kia say the EV9 offers an ARAI-claimed range of 561km per charge.
